Hi, I’m George!

I’m a short, little guy with a sweet heart that’s been through a lot lately. I had a home once, but somehow I ended up at CACC, confused, scared, and missing the family I used to know. I don’t understand what happened, and right now, I’m still trying to figure out who I can trust.

I’m a good boy, just a cautious one. I’m dog-friendly and friendly with adults, but new people and situations can make me nervous. I need someone who understands that I might not come running into their arms right away. Give me some space, speak softly, and let me come to you when I’m ready. I also need a family willing to continue my training and help me build confidence.

I’m not looking for someone to rush me or expect me to be a different dog overnight. I’m looking for a patient person who will appreciate every little step I take toward trusting again.
