Dulce is the perfect mix of playful and laid-back. She loves a good game of tug or fetch and enjoys going for walks, but once shes had her fun, shes more than happy to curl up on the couch or relax in her dog bed by your side.

Rescued from a severe starvation case in Puerto Rico, Dulce has made an incredible transformation and has never lost her loving spirit. She adores people and is happiest simply being part of the family, whether youre heading out for an adventure or enjoying a quiet evening at home.

Dulce is crate trained, house trained, and knows sit, down, stay, and heel. Shes a confident, well-behaved girl who would do well with a family ready to enjoy all the wonderful qualities that come with a people loving dog. Because shes a sturdy girl, we think older children would be the best fit..

Due to her history of starvation, Dulce needs to be the only pet in the home, as she guards food around other dogs. However, she has no food aggression toward people and enjoys the company of other dogs in social settings away from food, such as walks or outings.
