Meet Jane
Jane is the steady, happy peacemaker of her little family.
When this litter of 5 was rescued, Jane naturally settled right into the middle of the pack. She has always had a calm, balanced energy about her that allows her to get along beautifully with everyone around her. She loves the other dogs, moves easily between personalities, and has such a naturally social and loving way about her.
What makes Jane so special is that she combines confidence and independence with an incredibly affectionate and gentle personality. She is playful without being overwhelming, thoughtful without being timid, and affectionate without being demanding. She has a wonderful ability to simply fit comfortably into the world around her.
At Upshot Dog Rescue, we work very intentionally with puppies like Jane. We focus on structure, routine, socialization, confidence-building, and allowing each puppy’s true personality to naturally unfold so we can help place them in the homes where they will thrive the most.
And now? Jane’s personality shines brighter every single day.
Every day Jane becomes sillier, more expressive, and even more connected with the people and dogs around her. She absolutely loves other dogs, happily joins in play, and carries herself with a beautiful balance of confidence and softness. One of the most striking things about Jane is her eye contact — she has an incredibly soulful, connected way of looking at people that makes you feel instantly bonded to her.
Jane would thrive in so many different types of homes. She would do beautifully with other dogs, children, or even as an only dog receiving all the love and attention for herself. She adapts easily, reads energy well, and has the kind of temperament that makes her an incredibly special companion.
She is going to make an incredibly loving, balanced, and deeply rewarding addition to the family lucky enough to call her their own.
