Get to know me! I’m Butterscotch, sweet and mellow; my personality is written all over my pretty face and in my gentle mannerisms. I am a Pit Bull mix, about 2 years old, and 52 lbs of pure love. My rescue story began in Port Lavaca, Texas, where I was a very pregnant stray. I was brought into the dreaded “kill” shelter, but I was such a sweetheart that the staff let me stay to have my 8 beautiful puppies, and then 4 Little Paws Rescue took us all in. These days, my puppies have been adopted, and now it's my turn. I am spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and have my vet records packed and ready to leave Texas behind!

First and foremost, I’m lovely. Inside and out, I have a beautiful personality, am friendly with everyone young and old, and have a special place in my heart for a little 6-year-old girl who comes to watch TV with me. I lay down beside her, and it's the sweetest thing. I’m great with other dogs, even the high-energy youngsters who are jumping and causing mischief; I pay them no mind. I met a cat on a leash walk today, sniffed it, and kept walking. My foster mom says I am the goodest girl: extremely patient, well-behaved at home, rarely bark, housebroken, and I know how to use a doggy door. I am easy to love, easy to live with, calm and peaceful, a little bit playful, and I’m very affectionate!

FYI... my vet records say my name is Buttercup, but because another buttercup is with this rescue, they changed my name to Butterscotch. You should know the name change doesn't bother me since I never responded to Buttercup anyway. My foster mom calls me Mamas, and that's what I respond to, LOL! Inquire about me today.
