DESCRIPTION
This little Alabama girl has quite the story to tell! Daisy was flown to New York ahead of Hurricane Isaias, helping make room at Greater Birmingham Humane Society for more dogs in need in the storm's aftermath. Now that she's made it safely through the storm, this Southern sunshine is ready to bring a whole lot of happy to somebody's home!
If there's one thing Daisy doesn't need, it's a weather forecast to tell her when to bring the sunshine. This girl is FULL of energy, loves to play, and is always ready to turn an ordinary day into a grand ol' adventure. Whether she's romping around with her toys, bouncing about like she's got somewhere important to be, or spreading her puppy joy wherever she goes, Daisy is sure to keep you on your toes and a smile on your face.
Daisy has already had quite the whirlwind adventure, but her next chapter is just getting started - and we're hoping love will lead her home.
ABOUT: MIXED BREED DOG BREED
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
The Pit Bull Terrier is a resilient and loyal breed known for its muscular build and loving nature. Originally bred for bull baiting and later dog fighting, Pit Bulls today are beloved family pets cherished for their gentle temperament and playful personality. With proper training and socialization, Pit Bull Terriers make affectionate companions that thrive on human interaction. Recognized for their strength and agility, these dogs require regular exercise and mental stimulation to channel their energy positively, reinforcing their reputation as devoted and trainable pets.
