Colette - Mixed Breed Dog for Adoption in East Hampton, New York

Some puppies arrive with a little extra sparkle, and then there's Colette.

With her beautiful black-and-white coat and those irresistibly expressive eyes, Colette has the kind of presence that makes you stop, smile, and wonder how anyone could resist her. Her name feels perfectly suited to her - a little elegant, a little charming, and completely unforgettable.

Colette came to ARF after she was rescued from Louisiana, thanks to our rescue partner BISSELL, and she is still discovering the world, one curious sniff, playful bounce, and cozy cuddle at a time. She has that wonderful puppy mix of sweetness and silliness, with a personality that is already beginning to shine through.

She isn't just a black-and-white puppy - she's Colette, a one-of-a-kind little girl waiting for a one-of-a-kind family to love her unconditionally.

The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
