Patches — Goofy, Loyal, Part Cat, Ready for a Patient Person

Patches is a young adult Pit Bull mix with a gentle, loving personality and a wonderfully goofy side. He is timid with new people and needs a little time to build trust, but once you are in his circle, you are all the way in. He adores his person and is affectionate, loyal, and a total sweetheart once he feels comfortable.

He is athletic, loves to run and play, and enjoys car rides and outdoor adventures. He also seems to believe he is part cat, because he loves climbing on everything. He is just as happy curling up on the couch for a quiet evening.

Dog friendly and cat friendly. Recently completed heartworm treatment and recovering beautifully. He does not do well in a crate but has proven he can be trusted loose in the home. He is an impressive climber who has scaled chain-link fences, so he needs a secure privacy fence or supervised outdoor time with appropriate restraint.

Patches needs a patient, loving adopter who will give him time to feel safe and keep building his confidence. Earn his trust and you will have a loyal, silly, adventure-loving best friend.


Adoption is $275, which includes spay/neuter at our vet, vaccines, dewormer, microchip, and clean bill of health. Although we work to potty train all of our dogs, we cannot guarantee full house training before adoption. Regression is a normal part of transitioning to a new home.
