Kava - Pit Bull Terrier and Shar Pei Dog for Adoption in Detroit, Michigan
KAVA
Pit Bull Terrier, Shar Pei
🇺🇸
Detroit, Michigan
October 29th
female, medium, adult
DESCRIPTION
Kava is an approximately 4-year-old, 50-pound Shar-Pei/Pit Bull mix who has a face (and personality) to die for. Kava was recently surrendered into our care after an incident with another large dog in the home. Despite all of her recent life changes, Kava is an incredibly social, confident, and people-loving girl! She thrives in busy environments, does wonderfully in crowds, and makes an excellent office companion. She’s intelligent, well-mannered, and genuinely enjoys being part of whatever her humans are doing. Did we mention she’s also potty trained and crate trained?!
Because of her history, we’re looking for a home without large dogs, where Kava can feel comfortable and successful. She’s shown she can coexist with smaller canine companions, but careful introductions and thoughtful placement will be important.
Adoption is $275, which includes spay/neuter at our vet, vaccines, dewormer, microchip, and clean bill of health. Although we work to potty train all of our dogs, we cannot guarantee full house training before adoption. Regression is a normal part of transitioning to a new home.
