Mama Puddles — Shy, Smart, Vocal, and Looking for Her Match

Mama Puddles is a Great Pyrenees/German Shepherd mix who has come out of her shell and loves being spoiled with attention. She is shy at first, but she blossoms when she finds that special chemistry with another dog. She is curious, intelligent, and vocal, with a quirky, romantic personality that shows up more the more comfortable she gets.

She would do best in a home with one or more male dogs and an incredibly secure fence. She is evasive and has a feral streak that will always be part of her, so her adopter needs to be careful at doors and gates. A fence that she cannot get over, under, or through is non-negotiable.

Mom Puddles needs a patient adopter who understands a dog who was never fully domesticated in her early life, and who is ready to give her a safe, secure home where she can keep growing in confidence.

She is ready to find her person. Just do not lose her!


Adoption is $275, which includes spay/neuter at our vet, vaccines, dewormer, microchip, and clean bill of health. Although we work to potty train all of our dogs, we cannot guarantee full house training before adoption. Regression is a normal part of transitioning to a new home.
