DESCRIPTION
Meet Jake! Jake came into our care when his owners could no longer care for him, but he is ready for his forever home! When Jake initially came into our care he was very shy and unsure of us, but with some TLC and patience, Jake has blossomed into a social dog that loves to be by people. He would love to go to a home where he can have time to decompress and people to call his own. In his previous home, his owners had mentioned that he may struggle with separation anxiety as well as , so Jake would benefit from a home where they can provide continued support for him with providing various stimulating enrichment as well as providing continued training so that Jake can be the very best dog he can be! Jake is considered to be one of our special care adoptions due to being heartworm positive, so he would need to go to a home that help him limit activity for the next couple of months to ensure that his treatment can do its job! If you're interested in Jake, swing by our downtown Chicago adoption center at 510 N. LaSalle, to meet these sweethearts in person. We offer same-day adoptions, free parking, and guide you through the process from start to finish! Learn more about hours and the adoption process at https://anticruelty.org/adopt-info.
