Michael is an incredibly sweet and affectionate cat who adjusted to his foster home very quickly. He absolutely loves attention and being petted, and he has a gentle, friendly nature. While he can be a little shy at first, Michael enjoys being near his people and is usually around when you're home. Loud noises may startle him, but he recovers quickly-he'll hide for a moment and then come right back out. He's wonderful with kids and would make a great addition to a family. Michael is also quite communicative (especially when it's mealtime!) and very food-motivated. He's a smart little guy too-he once found his favorite toy (a bird!) after it was hidden inside a basket... by opening it himself!

Michael is truly easy to love, and anyone who meets him falls for him right away. He's ready to bring warmth, affection, and a bit of clever charm to his forever home. Michael is considered to be a special care animal due to having cystitis, which is inflammation of the bladder. The exact cause is unknown, but Michael's condition is currently managed with a prescription urinary food and a low stress lifestyle.
