Meet Trek Journey!
Trek is currently about 1 month old and weighs approximately 8 lbs. We believe he may be a Pit Bull/Lab mix, but with rescue it's always our best guess! What we do know is that this handsome little tuxedo boy is absolutely overflowing with love, charm, and puppy sweetness. Like so many puppies from overcrowded shelters, Trek is looking for a family willing to give him the bright future he deserves.
Trek is the kind of puppy who steals hearts instantly. With his sleek black coat, adorable white tuxedo markings, floppy ears, and the sweetest puppy eyes, he is absolutely gorgeous. Add in his incredibly soft fur and affectionate personality, and he's pretty much impossible to resist.

This sweet boy loves people and has the cutest way of showing it. One of Trek's favorite things is giving gentle little love nibbles while he's snuggling with his humans. It's his special way of sharing affection, and it's every bit as adorable as it sounds.
Like any good puppy, Trek is all about playtime. He loves wrestling with his puppy siblings and can often be found proudly carrying around stuffies that are somehow bigger than his entire head. Whether he's pouncing on toys, playing with his friends, or exploring the world around him, Trek approaches everything with enthusiasm and joy.
When the excitement winds down, Trek is more than happy to curl up for cuddle time. He's incredibly sweet, affectionate, and loves being close to his people. He has that wonderful balance of playful puppy energy and snuggly companion that makes him such a special little guy.
Like all young puppies, Trek is still learning about the world around him. He will need a family committed to training, socialization, routine, and all the patience that comes with raising a puppy. Establishing structure, boundaries, and positive experiences early on will help him grow into the amazing adult dog he's already showing signs of becoming. We require adopters to begin crate training immediately upon arrival home, which helps with potty training, confidence building, and developing healthy habits.
If puppy perfection had a face, it might just be Trek's. Sweet, playful, cuddly, handsome, and full of love, this little tuxedo boy is ready to find the family he's been waiting for.

At our 2 acre Texas based property, we assess every animal with trainers on staff, we modify behavior as needed, and create individualized behavior plans to help prepare dogs for their future families including crate training, potty training, leash walking, etc. Our fosters are able to attend group training and socialization play groups helping them stay confident, well rounded, and adoption-ready. Our on-site trainers are dedicated to each dog’s growth and we enjoy seeing their progress!
We go above and beyond to ensure every animal receives exceptional care. Veterinarians consistently praise our medical standards. From routine care to advanced treatments, each dog receives personalized attention. Hard costs for a healthy dog range from $804-$920; heartworm-positive dogs or those needing specialized care can exceed $2,000+. Adoption fees help cover a portion of these expenses, but without government funding, we rely on fundraising to bridge the gap—ranging from $100–$1,000+ per dog.
Our adoption fees reflect the extensive care and resources that go into each animal we save. The adoption fee is a donation to the mission and goes far beyond getting a fully vetted pet.
