Meet Saucy, a five month old Chihuahua/Shih Tzu mix weighing 12 pounds.

Saucy may have a sassy name, but this scruffy little girl is mostly sweet with just a hint of spunk. She came to us as part of an "oops" litter when her previous owner could no longer care for her and her siblings. It’s been a big change for her, and while she can be a little unsure at first, her gentle personality shines through more each day.

With her adorable scruffy coat and likely mix of many breeds, Saucy is truly one of a kind. She’ll need light grooming and regular brushing to keep her coat healthy and looking its best.

Saucy is still learning that the world is a safe and happy place. With patience, love, and encouragement, she’ll continue to build confidence and come out of her shell. Like all puppies, she will benefit from consistent training and positive reinforcement to help her learn the ropes. Ongoing socialization is also key, helping her become comfortable with new people, environments, and other animals as she grows.
