Hi, I'm Koa – an eight month old survivor with a heart as big as my name (which means “brave” in Hawaiian). Not long ago, I was hit by a car and left on my own, but thanks to the wonderful people at MPGR, my amazing foster family and lots of care, I pulled through. Now I'm healed up, happy, and ready to find my forever family! I'm a sweet, affectionate pup who loves everyone I meet. Kids? I adore them. Dogs? Instant friends. Cats? I'm gentle and respectful. I'm the kind of boy who will fit right in, whether you've got a busy household or a quiet one. Despite my rough start, I don't dwell on the past—I'm all about cuddles, playtime, and wagging my tail toward the future. I'd love a family who will keep me safe, spoil me with love, and remind me every day that I'm finally home.

Our organization is foster based which means that we really know and understand our dogs personalities as our volunteers live each day in their house with our rescued dogs. Our fosters are available to answer your questions and will give you all the details you need to know about our dogs such as if they are shy, are they outgoing, what is their energy level, are they couch potatoes, love bugs, kissers, lickers, so please do apply and ask our fosters questions - this will ensure you find your pur-fect match in our rescue!
