Hi, I'm Sitka! I'm a year and a half old guy with a soft heart, a playful spirit, and (if I may say so myself) a pretty brilliant mind. I might not fit the “loud Husky” stereotype — I'm actually a pretty quiet guy who prefers connection over chaos.
I'm super loving and happiest when I'm close to my people. Whether it's cuddling up, hanging out, or joining you on an adventure, I'm just glad to be part of it. I've got a playful side too, and I love a good romp with my dog friends — I get along great with all dogs and I'm wonderful with kids of all ages. I'm also really smart — like, “figure things out before you even realize it” smart — which makes me a fun and engaging companion. I enjoy learning, picking up on routines, and being included in whatever you're doing. Overall, I'm just a solid, well-rounded pup: loving, gentle, playful, and easy to have around. Our organization is foster based which means that we really know and understand our dogs personalities as our volunteers live each day in their house with our rescued dogs. Our fosters are available to answer your questions and will give you all the details you need to know about our dogs such as if they are shy, are they outgoing, what is their energy level, are they couch potatoes, love bugs, kissers, lickers, so please do apply and ask our fosters questions - this will ensure you find your pur-fect match in our rescue!
