Hi! I'm Ancil I'm a 4-year-old pup with a big heart and an even bigger personality. After the Kankakee tornado, I found my way here while looking for safety and a fresh start. Now I'm hoping my next stop is my forever home. Everyone says I'm a sweet, social, and funny guy. I love meeting new people—kids, adults, everyone! Humans are my favorite, and I'm always happy to make new friends. I also get along great with other dogs, so if you already have a pup at home, I'd probably love having a buddy to play with. I enjoy the simple things in life: belly rubs, playtime, exploring, and making people smile with my goofy personality. Our organization is foster based which means that we really know and understand our dogs personalities as our volunteers live each day in their house with our rescued dogs. Our fosters are available to answer your questions and will give you all the details you need to know about our dogs such as if they are shy, are they outgoing, what is their energy level, are they couch potatoes, love bugs, kissers, lickers, so please do apply and ask our fosters questions - this will ensure you find your pur-fect match in our rescue!
