DESCRIPTION
Raven (A117965) is a 7-year-old lab mix who weighed over 60 lbs at intake! 04/30/26 Raven, previously known as Heaven, is back at the shelter due to ongoing medical concerns that her adoptive owner noticed after bringing her home. Raven was assessed by our shelter vet once arriving back at the shelter, where they did find that she had a pretty severe urinary tract infection. The urinalysis did not find any evidence of crystals and the ultrasound confirmed no stones were present in her bladder. She was given a long-acting injectable antibiotic to help resolve her UTI. Raven also had some irritation around her vulva and she was placed on a medical evaluation for care staff to monitor for any signs of incontinence. Raven has officially been cleared for adoption and seems to be feeling better. Her adoptive family did say she was an absolutely amazing dog and did fabulous with people of all ages and other dogs! She also is kennel trained, housebroken, knows her commands, and rides well in a car! If you are interested in meeting Raven, please let us know! 03/28/26 This sweet older girl is Heaven! Heaven was brought to the shelter due to no fault of her. She has been overly sweet and affectionate with care staff and was described by her previous owner as a friendly, affectionate and outoging girl. Heaven was said to do well with humans of all ages, as well as other dogs and even cats! Miss Heaven knows some basic commands, such as sit, lay down and come. She was also said to ride well in the car and to generally mind well and to be gentle when playing. Heaven was a little chonky when she arrived at the shelter, so it will be important for her next home to help her shed a few pounds to keep her joints healthy and comfortable as she gets along in years. If you are interested in meeting Miss Heaven, please give us a call!
