Barry - Norfolk Terrier and Terrier Dog for Adoption in Humble, Texas

Introducing Barry!

Barry is a sweet little terrier mix who was thankfully picked up by one of our animal control officers when he was seen scared and alone in a local area known for dumping dogs. Thankfully, Barry is now safe in a foster home (in North-east Houston) where he is surrounded by people and other dogs—and he is doing amazing! Understanding the Terrier Breed:

Terriers are high-energy, confident, and feisty dogs with a bold "big dog" attitude packed into a compact body.

• Feisty and Energetic: Terriers have abundant energy and are always ready for an adventure or a game.
• Independent and Stubborn: Bred to work alone underground or on farms, they are smart problem-solvers who often make up their own minds.
• Tenacious and Courageous: They are fearless and determined, refusing to back down from challenges or obstacles.
• Loyal and Affectionate: While bold, they form deep, ride-or-die bonds with their human families and love being part of the action.
• Alert and Vocal: They make attentive watchdogs and will quickly announce new sounds, visitors, or moving objects with barking.

Barry is a lively, fun-loving companion who will absolutely thrive in an active household. He is looking for a family that can commit to a routine of regular exercise, interactive play, and brain games to keep his sharp mind engaged. Barry's bright energy is truly infectious, making him a blast to be around. For the outdoor enthusiast or weekend warrior, he will make a loyal, enthusiastic, and untiring buddy for all your adventures.

If you are ready for an energetic, loving terrier who will keep you smiling and provide you with many years of shared experiences and memories, Barry is your guy!
