This dog is currently out of state but will be transported to New England shortly with no additional travel costs. The long distance adoption process includes talking to the foster they are living with in the south. Roughly 90% of our dogs are successfully long distance adopted and 10% adopted locally.

Meet Boone, a 1.5-year-old Mountain Cur mix, weighing 50 pounds (as of 9/16/26). He was living the hard-knock stray life in Tennessee until he realized he'd prefer to live the cozy life with you!

Boone is a sweet, friendly, and outgoing guy. He absolutely loves people and does wonderfully with other dogs, kids and even did well in cat testing. He's sure to be the most popular dog on your block so get ready for a lot of guests at your home! His happy, social personality makes him a joy to be around, and he’s always ready for some attention, playtime, or a good walk as his curiosity knows no bounds.

Boone appears to be house trained, crate trained, and leash trained, making him a great addition to just about any family. He’s got a wonderful personality, a big heart, plenty of love to give and even knows how to play the trumpet!

The dog may have some genetic material of an American Staffordshire Terrier (pit bull). The dogs are usually mixes of many breeds, making them a breed all their own - a True and adorable American MUTT. If you are interested in this dog, you must submit an application.
