Meet Nova! This sweet girl joined us at the fair and handled the whole experience like a champ. She was relaxed, happy to hang out, and absolutely loved the company of all the humans she met. Nova is the kind of girl who is perfectly content soaking up attention and enjoying some quality time with her people.

When it comes to other dogs, Nova is a little more selective. She had a great time meeting Monty and the two even enjoyed some playtime together (we have a video of them playing on our Facebook!), but she wasn't quite as impressed with Giovanni. Because of that, we recommend a meet and greet with any potential canine siblings to make sure everyone is a good match.

Nova does have some resource guarding tendencies, particularly when it comes to her food and being around other dogs while resources are present. Again she was fine with Monty for this, but not a huge fan with the other dog. She has done well with human hands around her food, but this is something her adopter will need to continue working with her on. She isn't particularly interested in toys right now, but that could always change once she's comfortable in a home of her own. She knows how to sit and is learning that walking on a leash is actually a pretty important life skill.
