Meet Preacher! This sweet boy is the kind of dog who doesn't need much to be happy — just a person to love and someone willing to give him all the attention he could ever want. Preacher walks incredibly well on a leash and is such a pleasure to take out. He doesn't have much interest in toys or all the extra stuff; what he really wants is to be close to his people.

Preacher will happily soak up every bit of attention you are willing to give him, and if you stop before he is ready, he'll gently nudge you with his head or even paw at you to let you know that the pets are not over yet! He is simply happiest when he is by your side. We believe Preacher has been around other dogs before, but as always, we recommend a proper meet and greet with any resident dogs to make sure everyone is comfortable and that it is a good fit.

Preacher does have some skin issues that we are currently working on, including medicated baths. He has been an absolute champ for his baths and has done wonderfully with them. He also has some fractured canines and bad teeth that need to be addressed. We are working to raise funds so we can get Preacher the dental care he needs along with his neuter. Preacher may not be the guy looking for a life full of toys and endless adventures. He's looking for his person. Someone who will let him hang out beside them, give him all the affection he asks for, and show him what it means to finally have a home of his own.

This sweet boy has so much love to give. We would love nothing more than to see Preacher get healthy, find his forever home, and spend his days being the loyal companion he was meant to be.
