Ube is a variety of sweet potato from the Philippines. Our Ube is actually from Texas, but she is the sweetest potato we've ever seen!

Ube is a soft-hearted puppy who came to us from a sanctuary in rural Texas with her siblings. The sanctuary is not in a location many people visit, and we knew we had to bring these babies up to Heartland in order to give them their best chance at being adopted into loving homes!

Ube may be a bit shy when you first meet her, but give her a little time (and maybe a treat or two), and you'll see her true personality start to bloom.

This endearing baby prefers slow introductions and cozy spaces. Once she trusts you, Ube wants nothing but snuggles. She doesn't mind being picked up and will melt into your lap when you show her you're safe.

Ube would thrive in a patient home that understands she's still building confidence. A quieter environment, predictable routine, and gentle encouragement will help her continue to come out of her shell. She would do well with another calm, friendly dog to show her the ropes, but she'd also be happy as your one-and-only if given lots of love and reassurance.

Ube is already friendly with people and other dogs. With ongoing positive reinforcement and puppy classes, she will happily become your ideal family companion.

Ube's adoption fee is $450. This animal is spayed and is up to date on core vaccines appropriate for their age.

They will need a Heartworm test between 6-7 months of age at the adopter's own vet.

Since she is a puppy, any adopter should anticipate needing to work on housebreaking and other training using positive reinforcement training only.
