Tiki has officially entered his “I live inside now” era.

Before coming to us, Tiki lived outside on a chain and was hit by a car. At only 19 months old, he's already experienced far more than he ever should have. But the past is staying in the past because Tiki has some serious living to catch up on.

This 67-pound goofball is sweet, smart, easygoing and eager to please. He's learned “sit,” walks pretty nicely on leash, goes into his crate without a fuss and keeps it clean.

He's also been good with dogs, kids AND the clinic cat, because apparently Tiki would like us to make this adoption thing as easy as possible.

He's the kind of guy who seems genuinely thrilled by this whole new concept of being loved and included.

Now he just needs the final piece: his own family.

No chains. No surviving. Just Tiki being Tiki.

Let the good life begin.

The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
