Lemmy - Mixed Breed Dog for Adoption in Sparta, Wisconsin

*Lemmy is currently a Foster Candidate as he tested positive for Heartworm and will require life-saving treatment.

Meet Lemmy! Lemmy is approximately 1 year old and is a medium-sized mixed breed who is looking for a special home to call his own.

Lemmy was found as a stray, so much of his past is unknown. We'd love to do a DNA test to see what his mixture is, but he's roughly 40 pounds of nothing but love so far! He's so incredibly snuggly and calm, and just wants to follow you around and crawl into your lap.

Lemmy should do well around other pets & children as long as everyone is properly introduced and supervised. He appears to be potty trained as he keeps his kennel clean and potties outside. He loves his dog bed and gently plays with his toys.

Because Lemmy tested positive for heartworm, he is currently a candidate for "Foster Only" or "Foster-to-Adopt" for us to be able to cover the cost of his treatment. This will last roughly 6-8 months and include 3 injections to help save his life. During this time, Lemmy will need a quiet life with lots of rest. We are happy to discuss this process with potential adopters.
