Brownie - Schnauzer and Mixed Breed Dog for Adoption in Sparta, Wisconsin
BROWNIE
Schnauzer, Mixed Breed
🇺🇸
Sparta, Wisconsin
June 29th
male, small, adult
DESCRIPTION
Meet Brownie! Brownie is approximately 3 years old and is thought to be a Schnauzer-type mix.
We pulled Brownie from another WI Shelter who was over-capacity and in severe need of help. Because Brownie just arrived, we're still learning more about him, but what we can tell you so far is that he is spunky, happy, friendly and has lots to say!
Dogs like Brownie will need regular grooming, so his adopters should consider this expense ahead of time. He should do well around other pets & children as long as everyone is properly introduced and supervised.
We are not sure what his history of training was, including potty training, so we will continue to learn that as we go as well. So far, this guy is sure to put a smile on your face!
We are doing all meet n' greets BY APPOINTMENT ONLY after an adoption application has been generally approved:

Brownie will be fully vaccinated & neutered prior to adoption. His adoption fee is $240.
ABOUT: MIXED BREED DOG BREED
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
The schnauzer is a versatile and intelligent dog breed known for its distinctive beard and eyebrows. They come in three sizes - miniature, standard, and giant - each with their own unique personalities and characteristics. Schnauzers are loyal, playful, and make excellent family pets. They require regular grooming to maintain their wiry coat and love to be included in activities with their human companions. With proper training and socialization, schnauzers can thrive in various roles, from loving companion to skilled working dog.
