DESCRIPTION
Meet Fozzie Bear!
Fozzie Bear came into our care through our partnership with local animal control, as a stray from the community. This fluffy, furry friend is the kind of dog who warms up on his own terms, but once he does, he's all in: leaning into pets, offering precious play bows, soliciting all of the attention and affection.
Fozzie would do best in a calm, consistent home where he can decompress and settle in at his own pace. He'd likely appreciate a family that enjoys quiet evenings together, unhurried neighborhood strolls, and a dog who just wants to be near you and share your couch for cuddles. If you've searching for a lowkey lovable little lounge buddy, Fozzie Bear could be your new best friend!
Dogs: Fozzie has been social with other dogs while in our care. We are happy to arrange a dog introduction at HSCC if you have a resident canine looking for a friend.
Cats: Fozzie has no known experience with cats.
Children: Fozzie may thrive in a home with older children, teenagers and adults.

ABOUT: MIXED BREED DOG BREED
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
