Meet Tanuki!

This fluffy little Cavapoo came into our care when his guardian was moving and could not bring him along. Now, Tanuki is searching for a family that can keep up with his puppy antics and appreciate his endless supply of charm! Tanuki is equal parts cuddly companion and playful adventurer. He loves a good game of chase and he's always ready to pounce on a toy or proudly carry around a stick. When playtime is over, he's happiest curled up near his people, whether that's under your desk while you work or beside you on the couch.

This social little guy has charmed just about everyone he's met, greeting friends and strangers alike with enthusiastic tail wiggles. Curious and adventurous, Tanuki loves taking in the world around him and has even enjoyed tagging along in a backpack to observe all the sights and sounds. Like any puppy, he's still learning about life and will benefit from continued positive reinforcement training, enrichment, and guidance as he grows. With patience and thoughtful introductions, he may be able to acclimate to living with other dogs, cats, and respectful children.
