Just kidding, he’s asleep on the couch. But since you’re here, meet Moose!

Moose is a young gentleman with excellent manners and a very favourable opinion of everyone he meets. He is absolutely certain that the stranger over there would like to meet him. He is often correct.

PUBLIC RELATIONS

Moose is friendly, affectionate, and very good company. He enjoys spending time with the dogs in his foster home and lives peacefully with two cats.

He sees no reason anyone should have a bad experience with him. So far, his approach is working.

THREE-LEGGED OPERATIONS

Moose came into New Hope’s care with a badly broken femur that required amputation to save him from pain. Thanks to the Guardians of Hope program, he received the medical care he needed and is now finding his footing on three legs.

He enjoys a little trot when the mood strikes. He’s still building his strength and stamina, so sometimes he goes for a walk, and sometimes he goes for a sit.

He’s outside either way.

HOME LIFE

Moose will happily relax on the couch while you go about your day. There’s no need for both of you to be up.

He also enjoys accompanying you on errands. He’s a polite guest, settles nicely, and mostly he’s just happy to be invited.

His expectations for an outing are reasonable. You’re there. He’s there. Things are going well.

WHAT MOOSE IS LOOKING FOR

A comfortable home. Kind people. Walks with time for a rest when he needs one.

Someone who enjoys his company as much as he enjoys theirs.

Moose is still building his strength, and his family will need to give him time to do that. The good manners are already in place.

Adoption fee is $294. He is neutered, microchipped and fully vaccinated.
