Since you’re reading this, you’re obviously looking for a new best friend—and, hey, so is BuddyI! He is approximately 2 years old and spent most of that time outside, not the best but he made it work for him. However, since he has come to live with his New Hope foster he has quickly developed a great appreciation of indoor life and food that just shows up in a bowl. Going for walks, playing with dogs at the off leash park and hanging out in the house with his humans is a perfect day for Buddy, oh yeah, and lots of naps. He is fully house trained, walks well on a leash, and is left alone with free range of the house with no issues. He ignores cats when he sees them on walks but that is as close and he has gotten.

Buddy is a wonderful dog with a lovely mix of affectionate, independent and social traits. He loves being close to his people but he is also happy to sleep outside or on his bed napping, he is definitely a medium energy dog. Buddy is very food motivated so he is learning basic commands quickly and will clean up any food that ends up on the floor. He sleeps on his dog bed at night (sometimes sneaking into his humans bed in the morning for some bonding time.

He’s a sweet, loyal companion who loves being part of the family and is ready to find a home to call his own.

Adoption fee is $295. He is neutered, microchipped, dewormed, and fully vaccinated.

ABOUT: MIXED BREED DOG BREED

The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
