Meet Socks!

Socks is a sweet 9–10 week old male puppy who came to us after a local family reached out for help when their black lab mix had an unexpected large litter. As part of our program, we helped ensure mama was spayed so she’ll never have to go through another litter again.

Socks is incredibly loving, affectionate, playful, and happiest being around people and other dogs. He’s also respectfully curious about cats.

Currently in foster in Portland and starting on potty training. Around 10–14 lbs now, with an expected medium adult size. He has received his 3 puppy booster vaccines and Bordetella vaccine. Rabies vaccine will still be needed when age-appropriate, along with mandatory spay/neuter covered by the adopter.
