DESCRIPTION
Meet Sasha!
Sasha is a loving 9–10 week old female puppy from a litter we took in after a local woman asked for help placing her puppies into good homes. Through our rescue program, we also made sure mama dog was spayed so she’ll never have to go through another litter again.
Sasha is extremely affectionate, playful, social, and the kind of puppy that wants to be close to you all the time. She loves other dogs and has been gentle and curious around cats.
Currently in foster in Portland and beginning potty training.
Mom is a black lab mix; dad unknown, but we expect a medium-sized dog. She has already received her 3 puppy booster vaccines and Bordetella vaccine. Rabies vaccine will still be required when old enough, along with mandatory spay/neuter covered by the adopter.
Follow @thePuertoRicoDogFund on social media to learn more about the puppies and the rescue work we do every day.
ABOUT: MIXED BREED DOG BREED
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
