Big paws, big personality, and a whole lot of puppy left to grow into!

Lainey is a beautiful girl who is expected to be a large breed, although we aren't quite sure what her breed mix is yet. What we do know is that she is one big goofy puppy who is smart, affectionate, playful, and always ready for some fun. Her estimated birthday is about 2/8/2026.

Lainey loves people and has been around men, women, and older kids. She can be a little timid when meeting someone new, but she warms up quickly and absolutely loves attention once she gets comfortable. She hasn't met young children yet and can be a little jumpy in typical puppy fashion, so continued training and supervision will be important as she grows.

She is very dog friendly and loves to play! She has been having a great time with her foster's three- and five-year-old dogs and would likely love a home with another playful pup who can keep up with her puppy energy. Her behavior with cats is currently unknown.

Like any puppy, Lainey's days are pretty simple: eat, sleep, play, repeat. She loves toys, enjoys playing fetch, and can go from absolute chaos to a serious puppy nap in no time. She's also a smart girl who is eager to learn and is already doing pretty well on a leash while continuing to adjust to wearing a harness.

Lainey is about 90% potty trained and has gone several days without a pee accident. She has never had a poop accident! She is still working on puppy manners and learning that those adorable puppy teeth and enthusiastic greetings need some boundaries.
One little quirk? Lainey isn't a fan of being outside alone after dark. She's much happier knowing her people are nearby.

Lainey has a lot of growing, learning, and maturing ahead of her, but she is already showing what a wonderful companion she can be. Her goofy personality, playful nature, and love for people make her a very special puppy.
