Zita - Mixed Breed Dog for Adoption in Cincinnati, Ohio

Zita is a sweet dog who joined us through our shelter-to-shelter program from St. Lucia. She enjoys spending time with her people, getting pets, going for walks, and having fun during playtime.
Zita has done well with other dogs and seems to prefer canine friends who are more laid-back and calm. She would likely do best with a dog companion who respects her relaxed style.
Zita is still learning and adjusting, so her new family should be prepared to continue consistent training, provide enrichment, and help her with a refresher on house training to help her feel confident and successful in her new home.
She is not a fan of being picked up, so she would appreciate a family who can respect her boundaries and allow her to build trust at her own pace. We are not sure how she would do with cats or children.
