Meet Bane!

Bane may sound like a mysterious and formidable name, but this handsome all-black kitten is actually named after the bane flower. And while the flower may have a somewhat dramatic reputation, our Bane is much more interested in being a tiny, speedy, rambunctious menace to your living room than anything particularly sinister.

Estimated to have been born 4/8/26, Bane is a playful little whirlwind who loves people and gets along wonderfully with other cats. He has two speeds: "go" and "how did you get all the way up there?" This boy loves to zoom around the room at impressive speeds, chase anything that moves, and climb tall things just because they're there. If there's a cat tree, bookshelf, or other suitably lofty perch available, Bane will consider it his personal climbing challenge.

He's also perfectly happy to entertain himself and his feline friends with all the usual kitten shenanigans. Expect racing, pouncing, wrestling, climbing, and the occasional sudden appearance from somewhere you absolutely did not expect a kitten to be. Bane has energy to spare and is looking for a home that will appreciate all the fun that comes with it.

Dogs aren't quite his cup of tea. If a dog gets too close, Bane will give a quick hiss to make his opinion known and then walk away. He's not looking for a confrontation-he simply has better things to do, like zooming away at approximately the speed of light.

Because Bane is a social, playful kitten who loves feline companionship, he is required to be adopted into a home with another cat or kitten. A feline friend will give him someone to chase, wrestle, zoom around with, and eventually curl up beside once he's finally exhausted himself.
