Jojo is a three year old female who is ready for a soft place to land.
She came to us as an owner surrender. Her family hit a hard stretch and made the call to find her a better situation, and they were honest with us about her on the way out, which is exactly what helps a dog get placed well.
Here is what we know for certain about Jojo. She loves other dogs. She has lived with children. She has lived with cats. Those are three of the hardest questions an adopter asks, and Jojo has already answered all three from real life.
She is a submissive, gentle girl. She is not pushy and she does not demand anything from you. Everyone who spends time with her comes back saying the same thing, which is that she is just sweet.
Jojo is brindle and white with a wide white blaze running up between her eyes and a freckled pink nose.
We want to be honest with you about one thing. Jojo has been living outside and she came in with flea dermatitis. Her skin is under treatment and it is improving. She will go home needing a few more weeks of care, and after that she will be comfortable in her own coat, likely for the first time in a long while.
We prefer to schedule appointments for meet and greets to make sure someone is available to spend time with you. The shelter is open Monday through Friday, 12pm to 4pm, and appointments outside of those hours may be available based on volunteer availability.
