Meet Hoya — A Gentle Soul Ready for His Forever Home 🐾🤍
Hoya’s journey began in heartbreaking circumstances. He was rescued alongside his mother from a dog farm in Korea where dogs were raised for the meat trade. Thanks to timely intervention, Hoya was given a second chance at life—one filled with care, patience, and love.
Since his rescue, Hoya grew up in a foster home in Korea where he received training and learned what it means to feel safe. He has blossomed into a calm, gentle, and kind-hearted dog with a beautifully stable temperament. Making his way to Ontario, Hoya genuinely enjoys human companionship and forms soft, affectionate bonds with the people around him.
Hoya is truly the kind of dog who fits right in. He gets along wonderfully with people of all ages, other dogs, and even cats. He has basic obedience training under his belt and, as a bonus, absolutely loves swimming—a happy, carefree side of him that shines when he’s in the water.
Despite being such a special boy, Hoya has waited far too long for a family of his own.
Hoya has been patiently waiting for love, belonging, and permanence. After everything he has endured, he deserves a home where he can feel safe, cherished, and truly part of a family.
We have shared Hoya’s story once again in the hope that the right person will see him, choose him, and give him the life he has been waiting so long for.
