Found as a stray around Randall's Island, Gravy is a sweet and wiggly girl who is ready to pour herself into a forever home! She loves treats, readily comes over to say hello, and has a loose, happy body when meeting new people. With her cheerful personality, Gravy is sure to add a little extra flavor to your life!

Gravy would love a home that can give her plenty of patience, positive reinforcement, and opportunities to explore. She can get a little overwhelmed and panty in new situations, so a calm routine and time to settle in will help her feel comfortable. With the right family, she'll be the perfect addition to the recipe for a happy home!
Good with Other Pets?
Gravy's history with other dogs is unknown, but she recently had some positive interactions with a new male dog. She enjoyed mutual sniffing and remained loose and wiggly, and when the other dog became too pushy, Gravy appropriately communicated that she needed some space. Any future dog friends should meet her slowly and under close supervision.
Good with Kids?
Gravy would do best in a home without children under 13. She can be sensitive to handling, so older, respectful kids who understand how to give a dog space may be a better fit.
