Purrlington - Domestic Short Hair Cat for Adoption in New York, New York

My foster writes: Meet Purrlington! Purrlington is a sweet, affectionate little guy with a big personality. He loves being around his people, whether he's following you around, giving you an enthusiastic forehead bump, or settling in nearby for a cosy nap. He's playful, curious and always interested in what you're up to.
Once he feels at home, his loving side really shines. He's an expert kneader, a champion lounger and a wonderful little companion looking for someone to call his own. ❤️

A volunteer writes:
Purrlington, a handsome tabby was found in the street by a Good Samaritan who brought him in their bookbag(he was quite friendly) to the Manhattan Care Center. Purrlington was on his best behavior when he came to destination and with the veterinary team. Once in a kennel, though, this lovely gentlecat with fluffy cheeks became quite shy and just compliant with whatever was asked from him. Purrlington is a sweet guy, though and with patience, will blink back at his visitor, leans gently into pets and more recently, will play with a feather wand. I was very pleased to see how Purrlington enjoyed the game, telling me that understanding and patience on the part of his new owner or family will yield a wonderful, happy and loving pet for many years to come. Purrlington is apparently healthy, is already neutered, did well on his behavior evaluation(beside showing his timid side) and could go home with you today for many years to come!
