Nacho - Mixed Breed Dog for Adoption in Larkfield-wikiup, California

This very sweet and social 5 month old, 8 pound pup, was found in the street and a rescue angel scooped him up. He went unclaimed and now is at Dogwood to find his own forever home.

Nacho loves people and loves to cuddle. He's been good with other dogs too. We expect him to mature at around 10-12 pounds. He probably has about 10 different breeds in him...so hard to tell! He's adorable whatever he is. Nacho will be available after neuter and vetting.

Making a difference, one animal at a time.

The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
