DESCRIPTION
Meet Pyro!
Pyro is a 7-month-old puppy with a playful side and a lot of personality waiting to come out. He loves toys, enjoys a good game of tug, and is always happy to accept a tasty treat.
Pyro can be a little unsure when people reach out to touch him, so he does best when he gets to make the first move. Give him some treats, a little space, and some time, and you'll see him start to relax. Once he's outside and feeling more comfortable, his playful puppy side really starts to shine.
Pyro has done well with his littermates and is curious about other dogs, but he can be a little nervous when things get too wild. Slow introductions will help him feel comfortable and give him the chance to make new friends at his own pace.
He'd do best with older kids who can understand that sometimes you have to let a guy come to you. He's also still working on all those important puppy skills, including housetraining.
If you're looking for a playful young pup who loves toys, treats, and a good game of tug, Pyro is ready to meet you-and he may just tug his way right into your heart.
Pyro is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on his vaccines. If Pyro might be a good fit for your home, come visit him at the shelter or reach out with any questions. adoptions@adoptlansing.org 517-626-6060
ABOUT: MIXED BREED DOG BREED
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
