DESCRIPTION
Meet Phoenix!
Phoenix is a 7-month-old puppy who is still figuring out this big, crazy world. He's a sweet, sensitive guy who can be a little nervous in new situations, but he's trying his best-and treats are definitely helping him come out of his shell.
Phoenix isn't the puppy who will immediately run up to everyone he meets. He likes to take his time, watch what's happening, and decide when he's ready to join in. With patience, encouragement, and a little time, we think this shy guy has a lot of personality waiting to come out.
He's done well with his littermates but can be nervous meeting new dogs, so slow introductions are best. Phoenix would do best with teenagers or older who can give him the space and patience he needs while he builds confidence.
He's still working on his puppy manners and housetraining, but hey, nobody said growing up was easy.
If you're looking for a sweet puppy to grow with, cheer on, and help discover his confidence, Phoenix might be your guy.
Phoenix is microchipped, neutered, and up to date on his vaccines. If Phoenix might be a good fit for your home, come visit us today at the shelter or reach out for more information. adoption@adoptlansing.org or 517-626-6060
ABOUT: MIXED BREED DOG BREED
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
