Slinky is a sweet, silly little guy with a playful personality and a serious love for his people. He's the kind of dog who can keep you laughing with his antics and then happily curl up beside you when it's time to relax.

- Great with kids
- Does well with dogs of all sizes
- Good with cats and continuing to learn appropriate interactions
- Loves squeaky toys and will zoom around with one proudly in his mouth
- Working on recall and leash skills
- Enjoys bath time and handles it pretty well
- Loves snuggling and relaxing on the couch with his people
- Has a funny habit of hiding under the table during mealtime in hopes of catching a dropped snack

Slinky is a fun, affectionate companion who enjoys both playtime and plenty of cuddles. If you're looking for a goofy little sidekick who will keep you entertained and then happily settle in beside you, Slinky may be your perfect match!

As a puppy, I am required to go to training within 90 days of my adoption with a certified trainer.

Old Dominion Humane Society (ODHS) Adoption Process
- Complete our Adoption Survey on the Adopt page of our website at https://www.olddominionhumanesociety.org/adoption-survey to expedite the process and arrange a meet-and-greet. Expect a response within about a week; please check your spam folder. As we're 100% volunteer-run, your patience is appreciated!

Requirements And Donations
- Required Adoption Day Items: A martingale collar and a non-retractable leash (available for purchase at ODHS).
- Adoption Donations: Puppies (under 1 year): $375; Adults: $275; Seniors (age-dependent): $175; Select dogs: $500. We accept cash, debit, and credit cards.
- Adoption Radius: Within 350 miles of Fredericksburg, VA. A $50 out-of-state fee applies.
- Breed Identification: Dogs are listed as "Mixed Breed" unless formal documentation is available.

- Visit our adoption center at 3602 Lafayette Blvd, Fredericksburg, VA 22408 during adoption hours: Wednesday 5-7 PM; Friday 6-8 PM; Saturday 10 AM-4 PM.
