DESCRIPTION

Meet Tigger - Your Adventure Buddy for Life!

Formerly known as Brooke previously in our program, Tigger is a stunning young active working-breed mix with a huge personality, an even bigger heart, and endless enthusiasm for life. At around 1.5 years old, she's the perfect mix of playful young-dog energy and growing maturity - past the tiny puppy stage, but still eager to continue learning, bonding, and exploring life alongside her people.

Tigger is the kind of dog who truly thrives when she has purpose, structure, and connection. Whether that's joining you on hikes, runs, camping trips, long walks, bike rides, road trips, or simply being your loyal sidekick through everyday life, this girl wants to be involved in it all. She's athletic, intelligent, affectionate, and happiest when both her mind and body are being engaged. She's already had training and has done wonderfully with consistency, routine, and clear boundaries. Her future family's success with her will be very dependent on continuing that structure, training, and guidance so she can keep building confidence and making great choices. Tigger is an incredibly smart dog who genuinely enjoys learning and working with her humans, and she'll absolutely flourish in a home committed to continuing to invest in her physically and mentally.

Tigger would do best with an active person or family who understands the needs of intelligent working type dogs. Dogs like her often thrive when they're given outlets, jobs, routine, enrichment, and adventure - even if her favorite "job" simply becomes being your constant companion and adventure partner. She's social, playful, and loves to have fun, though her play style can sometimes be a little enthusiastic and rough-and-tumble. Because of this, we feel she'd do best either as the only dog soaking up all the attention, or in a home with another confident, active dog who genuinely enjoys her energetic play style and can match her energy appropriately. Tigger would also likely do best in a home without very young children. While she's a loving and happy dog, she's still learning body awareness and can become overly excited during play or around food. Older, active, dog-savvy children who understand boundaries and respectful interactions with dogs may be a better fit for her.

At the end of the day, Tigger is an incredibly loving, fun, loyal, and adventurous young dog who is going to make an amazing companion for the right home. She has so much potential and so much love to give - she just needs a family committed to helping her continue becoming the very best version of herself.

If you've been searching for a smart, active, affectionate best friend to share life's adventures with, Tigger just might be your perfect match.

Will you be this girl's lucky new hero?

ABOUT: MIXED BREED DOG BREED

The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
