Meet Milky!

Milky is an adorable pointer mix puppy with a bright spirit and an even brighter future ahead of him. Rescued from the streets of Puerto Rico, this lucky boy has made his way to Central Oregon and is now settling in with his foster family (our founder!) here in Bend. He's already soaking up the comforts of home life-and he's so ready to find a family to call his own.

From everything we've seen so far, Milky is the total package. He's doing wonderfully in the home, gets along great with other dogs, and has even been respectful around cats. He's friendly and social with new people and kids, and he's already showing what a well-adjusted, easygoing pup he is. He's also a champ overnight-sleeping through the night without a fuss-and making great progress with potty training. Milky has that perfect puppy blend of playful energy and sweet affection. He'd thrive in a variety of homes-whether it's an active individual looking for an adventure buddy, a family with kids, or a household with other pets. He's adaptable, loving, and eager to be part of whatever you're doing. He's still completing his medical vetting, so he's not quite ready to head home just yet-but we've started a general interest list for pre-approved adopters. If you're looking for a loyal companion and a best friend to grow with, Milky might just be your guy.
