DESCRIPTION
Why choose me?
I've been wanting to take Winnie out for a while, but she's so scared of the barking that surrounds her kennel, that she runs to the back when she sees a leash. The shelter supervisor gained Winnie's trust today, and they made their way to the interaction pen. Yay! Eventually, I was able to gain Winnie's trust too, and when she rolled over on her back to show me that she's a good girl, I rubbed her belly. Lots of pets and "good girls" followed, and Winnie saw me as a friend. The deal was sealed when Sundae ran to the fence to see us, and the girls hit it off. They were both happy and wagging their tails. Later, another volunteer joined us, and Winnie lay beside her enjoying more pets and treats. It was good seeing Winnie come out of her shell. She's a sweetheart who wants to be loved and beyond the noise of the kennels, she shows that.

ABOUT: MIXED BREED DOG BREED
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
