Bolt - Mixed Breed Dog for Adoption in Athens, Georgia

Why choose me?

Bolt is a sweet, friendly boy. He was happy to leave his kennel to walk with me, and when he met his canine neighbor at the fence, his tail began wagging. His neighbor wanted to play and run along the fence, but Bolt seemed to be favoring a back leg and wasn't up to running today. He made his way to the shade to lie down and enjoy some pets and treats. It's my understanding that a vet will be checking out Bolt's leg soon. He's a good-natured buddy, and hopefully, he'll be up to playing before long.

The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
