Tank - Mixed Breed Dog for Adoption in Athens, Georgia

Why choose me?

Tank is a sweet, older fellow. He lit up when I offered him treats and showed me his good manners sitting down and taking them gently. He also enjoyed pets and praise. Tank was surrendered with his friend Dante. I didn't know that until later, so I didn't have them out together, but I'm sure they would like that sometime. Their former owner said they're both house trained, crate trained, and good with kids and other dogs. Tank has some growths on his backend which sometimes happens with older dogs, but he gets around well and is a happy dog. I hope he finds a new home to continue his golden years.

The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
