Why choose me?
Byrd is nervous in his kennel, but he forgets his worries once he's outside. After having time to take care of his business and explore, Byrd was ready to spend time with me. When I sat on a bench, he was beside me happy for pets. I patted my lap to see if he'd hop up, and he must have been waiting for the invitation and did so right away. Byrd stayed on my lap until it was time to go. He walked nicely on a leash and was okay as we passed the kennels. He was with a friend and feeling confident.
