DESCRIPTION
Why choose me?
Biscuit and Butterball are cute buddies. They're both sweet boys, but Biscuit is more confident than his shy brother. Biscuit stepped forward to meet a new friend and be petted. Butterball watched and decided he didn't want to be left out and joined us for pets as well. Neither boy is comfortable walking on a leash, so I carried each one to the interaction pen. They were two happy pups when they were back together again even though they were only separated for minutes. Biscuit lounged on a blanket, sat for treats, and liked being held while Butterball enjoyed exploring. When I sat on a bench with Biscuit, Butterball stood beneath the picnic table close enough for me to pet and eventually stepped out for a few treats. He seems braver when his brother is nearby. Both are good dogs who've come a long way since arriving at the shelter. They just needed time to settle in and know they're safe and loved.

ABOUT: MIXED BREED DOG BREED
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
