This dog is currently out of state but will be transported to New England shortly with no additional travel costs. The long distance adoption process includes talking to the foster they are living with in the south. Roughly 90% of our dogs are successfully long distance adopted and 10% adopted locally.

Meet Samantha Mae Sugarbear, a 16-week-old Mixed Breed who is truly the most beautiful and perfect American Mutt! She weighs 16 pounds (as of 7/1/26) and is expected to be approximately 30 pounds when fully grown. Sweet Samantha Mae and her sister, Libby Mae, were strays in Tennessee but they're eyeing a future home where they can give you all the love and sweet tea you can drink!

Samantha Mae has a gentle, quiet nature that makes her easy to fall in love with. She isn't the type to demand constant attention, but she truly enjoys affection and happily soaks up every cuddle and kind word she receives, so please keep 'em coming! Her sweet and calm personality makes her a wonderful fit for someone looking for a loving, easygoing best friend.

She engages in play with other dogs, would do great with kids and while she hasn't mets cats yet, she hopes she'll charm them with her Southern hospitality! She'll need your help with potty training, leashes and commands but has used crates for travel.

With her gentle heart and loving spirit, Samantha Mae is ready to find a family who will cherish her for a lifetime.
